Approximately 60 years ago, UNION Elmes created door handles by encapsulating metal in acrylic, a design that we’ve now replicated. Despite the difficulty in repairing or reproducing them, we managed to locate skilled craftsmen with advanced techniques to finally bring the product to market.
The design gives the impression of brass floating within transparent acrylic, with the brass gradually developing a patina over time.
